01 / The stylist

Commercial experience that translates to the frame.

April can take creative direction, prepare visual details for camera, and keep a consistent styling language across a series.

02

02 / The approach

Build a cohesive set of images that feels unmistakably TOTO: refined, useful, and considered down to the last detail.

April leads the styling and visual arrangement. Kerwin supports capture, lighting, tethering and image review. Creative references, products and approvals are aligned with TOTO before the shoot.

04 / Production readiness

The tabletop setup is taking shape.

The home studio already has the working surface, light control and equipment for a controlled flat lay shoot.

In place now

  • Dedicated shooting table and surface
  • Overhead diffusion and controllable lighting
  • Grip, flags and background options
  • On-site camera and digital production support

Finalize before shoot

  • Second table for prop and product staging
  • Approved visual brief and sample setups
  • Product list, props and surface plan
  • Shoot date, shot count and sign-off process
05 / Creative & production alignment

April’s plan for the first shoot.

Use the mockups as a starting point, then agree on what matters most in the final frame before sourcing and production.

01

Creative direction

Which three visual elements are essential? What is inspiration versus a must-have? Should the WASHLET setups share one campaign look or have distinct treatments? Props should support the product, not compete with it.

02

Prop sourcing

April can source pieces that photograph well at tabletop scale, bring flexible options, and prioritize local or returnable items where practical. Agree on a prop budget cap, purchase approvals, receipts, ownership and returns before buying.

03

Shot workflow

Confirm hero and supporting images, the shot list, number of setups, on-set or remote review, final creative approval, and how backup options or revisions will be handled during the shoot.

Product readiness · confirm in meeting

  • KS6 Elongated Cotton — two reported received
  • S7A Round Cotton — reported received
  • KS5 Round Cotton — delivery expected
  • Confirm remaining accessories and exact shoot inventory

After the meeting

April will turn the agreed direction into a sourcing plan and production checklist. Kerwin will coordinate photography and technical capture so styling and framing work together on set.

April is also open to future TOTO styling projects if this first production is a fit.

06 / Proposed engagement

A clear styling scope for the shoot day.

April’s proposed styling day rate
$750

Per shoot day, subject to an agreed schedule and number of setups.

Define the production plan together

  • April’s rate covers shoot-day styling under the agreed brief.
  • Significant concept development, sourcing or prep outside the shoot day is scoped separately.
  • TOTO provides or approves the budget for props, surfaces and set materials.
  • Setups, working hours, revisions and any reshoots are agreed before production.
07 / Meeting outcomes

What we should decide today.

With these choices settled, we can finish staging the studio and put a production date on the calendar.

01 Which products and how many final setups?
02 What references define the creative direction?
03 Who approves each image and final selections?
04 Which props and surfaces need to be sourced?
05 What prep time and shoot dates are expected?
06 What is the approval path for budget and rate?
Let’s make the first shoot concrete.

Confirm the brief, products, schedule, budget and approval process. April and Kerwin can then finalize the setup and prepare the first production day.
